At home with Baby B …

Kayla and Alden’s wedding was one of the few in 2020 that went off without changes to the venue or the date. They were so calm and relax through it all and were a joy to work with. I was so happy when I ran into Kayla at Krissy’s wedding in September – she was pregnant and due soon, so we made plans (Covid allowing) to reconnect for some newborn photos once the baby was born in November. Their at home newborn session was much like their wedding – calm and loving – and using the all the blankets they were gifted in the photos was so special.

It was so great to meet Baby B on his one-week birthday – glad baby and parents are doing well! Parents seated holding a newborn babyParents seated holding a newborn babyMother stands in a window holding a newborn baby and kissing its cheekParents hold a newborn baby near a windowphoto of a newborn baby

At home with Baby R …

So lookout world, here he is …

Introducing Baby T …

I am honoured to have captured their engagement, wedding, and now a newborn baby boy…

Introducing Baby Beatrice …

What I know for sure is that this world changed for the better in mid-March 2013.  That day, my oldest friend Mary and her dear husband Joel welcomed their lovely daughter, Beatrice. A couple of weeks later, they invited me into their Toronto apartment to document their new family.  I loved being able to watch someone I’ve known since childhood slip so seamlessly into motherhood.  And while there was no music playing in those headphones (not to worry!), this young lady has an impressive collection of vinyl to look forward to when she’s older (say hello Roxy Music and the Kinks!).  I strongly suspect they may be the hippest, coolest, kindest parents around.

So brace yourself, world.  Introducing, the beautiful baby Bea …
