About me …

A bit about me … I love coffee. I’m not even fussy about it, as long as it’s warm and caffeinated. I love music. All kinds. I sing and dance while photographing wedding receptions because I will always dance along to a good tune. For nights out, I like nothing more than a good Indian restaurant, with friends and good conversation. For nights in, a good tv drama, a book and a nap do me just fine. I have nieces and a nephew who are hilarious and I love spending time playing with these crazy card sharks. I love to travel, spending summer days at a cottage by a lake, taking longs walks — and yes, sometimes those walks are on a beach. And I love getting to know couples, and families, and telling their stories. Capturing a moment in time, in their life. I love capturing them naturally, as they are, creating keepsakes for generations of their families.

I have photographed weddings and events since 2005 across Ontario, from Thunder Bay to Niagara, to Ottawa, as well as destination weddings. While I love to work with clients from around the country, the majority of the weddings and events I capture take place in near my hometown of Midland, Ontario and my other home base of Toronto, Ontario. Oh, I also love to drive (and fly – I love airports!), so I’m always happy to work with folks outside these areas.

In 2007, I took a more serious leap into photography and enrolled at Spéos Photographic Institute in Paris, France. At Spéos, I studied photojournalism with the leading photojournalist and professional studio photographers. In February 2013, I attended the Foundations Workshop in Texas, which is known as the best and toughest workshop for documentary wedding photojournalists. The instructors at this workshop are consistently rated as some of the top wedding photographers in the world. These experiences have helped me learn about light and moment and has shaped the way I photograph to this day.

My clients have always appreciated my creative approach and the time I dedicate to getting the best possible images of their day. Now that you know a little about me … get in touch so I can learn more about you!
