On an unusually hot Saturday in September, I joined Laura and Kevin at Horseshoe Resort, just north of Barrie. Beautiful fall light was met summer-like weather at a hilltop venue with a gorgeous view.
The resort provide a relaxed backdrop for Laura and Kevin’s casual, elegant day. Both the bride and groom got ready in suites on the resort. By late afternoon, guests and the wedding party arrived by chairlift to the hilltop ceremony location. A clear blue sky made the vibrant jewel tones of the florals pop. After the ceremony, Laura and Kevin shared a private ride down the chair lift before we caught a beautiful sunset for their portraits. Guest were kept dancing late into the night, celebrating the joy of the day. Thanks again to Laura and Kevin for including me in their plans. I’m honoured to have captured this happy celebration (and high five to the beautiful guest who gave me the juice box! I will forever appreciate your kindness!).
