One thing I like best about wedding photography is getting to work with the same group of friends over and over again. I first met Ashley and Kevin at their friend’s wedding in 2012. And again at a couple of weddings last year. By the time we really had time to chat at their (very chilly) engagement shoot in February, I feel like I had a sense of the fun that their wedding day would hold.
For me, their wedding served as a good reminder of how the most important part of a wedding day are having friends and family around us. Sometimes, weddings are marked by the friends who passed too soon, or other loved ones not present, and it remind us of the importance of celebrating and enjoying the moments we have together. Ashley and Kevin’s beautiful backyard wedding was a fun celebration of this cool couple who loves to laugh and the great group of family and friends who surround them …
